Experienced electrician Ross Whitburn was sure there was another solution. He worked closely with WorkSafe, Delta and Aurora Energy to develop an electrically safe system for insulating live power lines. Today Ross' company, Tiger Tails Otago, rents these overhead power line covers out to clients across Dunedin and the wider Otago region to Queenstown and Wanaka.
